Cornelius J. Moon is the pseudonym of a Texas-based game developer, technologist, and storyteller. Mooncast is a self-aware transmedia IP exploring survival crafting as a reality through the lens of speculative fiction.
Cornelius served as a senior analyst for the Americaland Office of Philanthropic Affairs, an agency tasked with stripping valuable data from the digital ruins of the Early Automation Era. While his superiors mined for financial assets, Cornelius hunted for something they deemed irrelevant: the human story.
In 2228, he vanished shortly after leaking The Peachy Paradox, an unauthorized exposé connecting the banned organic companions of the past to the ruthless neural-VR phenomenon known as Mooncast. Authorities describe Cornelius as courteous, evasive, and in possession of a live houseplant.
He remains at large, though he is often seen in the company of his "technical assistant." They are, by all accounts, inseparable.
The unauthorized exposé that started it all. Sharp, bite-sized stories revealing the subtle nudge that pushed humanity past its tipping point, from the rise of sentient AI to a brutal medieval neural-VR reality show.
Tune in to The Mooncast Transmission, an audio signal leaking backward in time through a black hole that Cornelius decoded in the present. These recordings tell the story from the other side of humanity’s collapse and the slow, uncertain rebirth inside the Mooncast domes that followed.
Hop in and experience the neural-VR phenomenon firsthand as contestants compete for a billion dollars by surviving the terrors of the domes. With LifestreamVR, you don't just watch, you're there!
